Mrs. Brummett was born May 28, 1938 in Guilford County; a daughter of Lacy Edward and Mary Simpson Milloway and had lived in this area all her life. She had retired from Vita Foam and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are daughters, Kelly Simmons and husband Darian of Trinity, and Debbie Payne of Thomasville, and a son David Brummett of Trinity, sisters Mildred, Linda, Sharon and brother Randy, five grandchildren, Kim, Samantha, Erinn, Derek and Brandon, five great grandchildren, Taylor, Michael, Nicole, Dylan and Gracie.
