Albert Bradley "Brad" Mills, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home.
A Guilford County native, Brad was born on October 20, 1970, the son of Albert Douglas Mills and Bonnie Preston Mills. Brad was a longtime member of Stokesdale United Methodist Church and a graduate of Northwest High School, Class of 1989. Brad was an outdoors enthusiast. Whether it was riding horses or motorcycles, fishing or gardening, Brad found happiness being outdoors. He was a fun-loving guy, thrilled by life and lived it to its fullest. His treasure on earth, though, was his family. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Tonia Simmons Mills; sons, Mason Mills and Blake Mills; mother, Bonnie P. Mills; sisters, Lisa Joyce and Bonita Beshears (Greg); brothers, Robert Honeycutt and Randy Mills; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at Stokesdale United Methodist Church, with Ashley P. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
