Harold Ray Hoppers, age 78,
of Port Richey, Fla. and formerly of Alleghany County,
died Monday, June 6, 2011 in Florida.
He was the son of the late Vester and Blanche Kennedy Hoppers.
He is survived by one son; two daughters; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Terry Doar.
Local survivors include, a nephew and spouse, Calvin Mark and Darlene Caudill; a niece, Julie Mahathy and special friend, Dr. Michael McKee; and aunt, Eula Hauser; and several cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in the Turkey Knob community at a later date.
Grandview Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements
