Nora Lee Pissanos, 73, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 18, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles P. Reichner and Nicholas L. Pissanos, Jr.; sons, Samuel E. Reichner and Ronald G. Reichner; brother, Richard C. Combs.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Nora was a private duty nurse working in homes in the Roanoke Valley.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Brenda Reichner, of Dublin, Nick and Teresa Pissanos, of Roanoke; daughter and caregiver, Lisa J. Pissanos, of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Tim Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
