Sarah L. Jester, 85, of Richmond, widow of Wiley K. Jester, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia J. "Patti" Page; two sisters, Mrs. Jacqueline S. Davis and Mrs. Pansie S. Sellers, both of Cherryville, N.C.; one brother, Harold J. Sides of Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Jester was a member of Weatherford Memorial Baptist Church. She was a Past Matron of Ruth Chapter No. 8, Order of the Eastern Star and was a Past Royal Matron of Virginia Court No. 1, Order of the Amaranth. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m with an Eastern Star and Amaranth Service. Interment at a later date in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby, N.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. 470, Sarah Lee Sides Jester
