Betty Heritage Fox, age 84, of 601 West Fifth Street, Siler City died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Chatham Hospital, Inc., Siler City.
Mrs. Fox was born October 7, 1923, the daughter of Lacy W. Heritage, Sr. and Nell (Surles) Heritage.
Mrs. Fox was a native of Chatham County.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Siler City, worked for Southern Railway for 26 and retired from A. J. Schneierson & Sons after 24 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Talmadge Fox and her son, Edwin Heritage Fox.
She is survived by son: Robert E. Fox and wife, Jean of Liberty, NC, grandsons, Peter Heritage Fox of Japan; Jason Andrew Fox of Burlington, NC; Granddaughter, Leslie Fox Herring of Burlington, NC
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the family home, 601 West Fifth Street, Siler City.
The graveside memorial service will be 2:00 PM Monday February 11, 2008 at Oakwood Cemetery, N. Chatham Ave, Siler City.
