Kim Yackle, 59, passed away on July 31, 2014, surrounded by his family, in Phoenix, AZ.
He was born to Delman and Virginia Yackle on August 28, 1954, in Akron, Colorado.
His family moved to Yuma, Arizona, when he was 8 years old. Kim graduated from Yuma High School in 1972.
Kim was an ambitiious man and a very hard worker. He started the construction trades right after high school as a laborer and eventually ran a variety of projects as a superintendent. For the last fifteen years Kim worked as a foreman for the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation and Drainage District where he completed many projects and was able to impart much of his knowledge to his crew. He will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to work beside him. Apart from work Kim's family was everything to him and together they loved spending time in the desert, riding quads, dove hunting, and enjoying company by the pool.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carole (Rogers), daughter Nicole Beale, and son Del. He is also survived by his sisters, Carolyn Hayes of Marshville, NC, and Carmen West of Sugarland, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delman and Virginia.

Kim Yackle, 59, passed away on July 31, 2014 surrounded by his family, in Phoenix, AZ.
He was born to Delman and Lillian (Virginia) Yackle on August 28, 1954 in Akron, Colorado.
His family moved to Yuma when he was 8 years old. Kim completed his schooling in the Yuma area before graduating from Yuma High School in 1972. Kim was an ambitious man and a very hard worker. He started the construction trades right after high school as a laborer and eventually ran a variety of projects as a superintendent. For the last 15 years Kim worked as a foreman for the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation & Drainage District where he completed many projects and was able to impart much of his knowledge to his crew. He will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to work beside him. There will be a Celebration of Life potluck lunch at the VFW Post 6790 in Wellton, 29389 Oakland Ave on Saturday,October 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
