Frances Elizabeth Wright Petty
Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Wright Petty, 96, passed away Sunday, April 21st at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.
She was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Wright.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Petty and brothers, Ed Wright, Wilbur Wright, Carl Wright and Alfred Wright.
She is survived by her brothers, Charlie Wright, Rufus Wright and Larry Wright and her sisters, Ann Maynard, Edna Faircloth and Hazel Thomas.
She is also survived by her son, Wayne Petty and wife, Diane; her grandson, Josh Petty and wife, Drea, and her great-granddaughter, Emerson Petty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you is extended to Mrs. Pettys many dedicated care givers at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 29th, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.
A memorial service at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields will be held at a later date.
