Honor Hash Anderson, 86, formerly of Martinsville, died Monday at the Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville.
She was born in Greyson County on Sept. 20, 1916, to Laura Lovelace Hash and Fletcher Z. Hash, both deceased. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Benton Anderson.
Surviving are two sons, Rex W. Anderson of Stuarts Draft and Roger Anderson of Waynesboro; one sister, Eunice Griffith of Willingboro, N.J.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at Roselawn Chapel from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, and other times at the home of Jamie and Niki Hindman, 330 Jeb Stuart Road, Martinsville. 470, Honor Florence Hash Anderson
