Simple and unassuming in her life, Etta wished for the same in her passing. A simple graveside service will be held at Prairie Haven Memorial Park at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008. Elder Jerry Christian will officiate.

Etta Mae (Boone) Henry, 72, Hobbs, N.M., died December 30, 2007 at her home.

Born in Pocahontas, Va., she was the daughter of the late Claude Swanson Boone and Frances R. (Becky) Smith Boone. She retired from the Albertson's Food Stores.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: One son, Charles; one daughter, Angi; two brothers: Claude and James Boone; one sister: Judy Clark; and three grandchildren.

Survivors: Her life partner, Raymond Lopez; five brothers: Donald, Charles, Floyd, Clarence and Randall Boone; two sons: Bill and wife, Crystal, Scott and wife, Kim; one daughter: Rebecca Christian and husband, Jerry; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Simple and unassuming in her life, Etta wished for the same in her passing. A simple graveside service was held at Prairie Haven Memorial Park at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008. Elder Jerry Christian officiated.
