"EMPIRE - Charles Arthur (Ray) White, 27, of Box 314, Empire, was found dead about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in his car parked on Route 7, north of Pottery Addition. A passing motorist notified the sheriff's office. Deputies said Mr. White apparently had died of a heart attack. Dr. John P. Smarrella, county coroner, was notified. He was to perform an autopsy today.

Born Jan. 8, 1930, at Pocohontas, Va., Mr. White had resided for 20 years in Empire.

He was a high-lift driver for Kaul Clay Co. of Toronto. He attended the Methodist Church.

He leaves his widowo, Mrs. June White; his father, George White of Empire; his mother, Mrs. Johnsie Francis of Virginia; four children, Donna, George, Charles and David; his paternal grandfather, Samuel White of Steubenville and his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Briggs of Old Washington, Ohio.

The body was taken to Clarke Funeral Home in Toronto where funeral arrangements are incomplete. Burial will be in Toronto Union Cemetery."
