BILLINGS KRONBERG, Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth Smith, 78, of Chester, Va., passed away on November 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years, Ronald J. Billings Sr.; her daughter, Barbara Ann Billings; her parents, Albert and Hazel Smith; her sisters, JoAnn Blackburn and Vinnie Smith; and a daughter by marriage, Kristi McPherson. She was married to her second husband, Donald R. Kronberg, for 17 years. He survives; as do their children, Ronald J. Billings Jr., David W. Billings, Linda D. Paulk (and Bear), Mick Kronberg (and Cindy), Gregg Kronberg, Bud Kronberg (and Leslie), Joni Glaze, Trisha Rosiles (and Tony); grand "son," Tony Billings (and Amanda); nephew "son," Steven Smith; and a niece, Ashley Franklin (and Jay); grandchildren, Michael, Danielle, Joshua, Grant, Cheyenne, Davin, Brooke, Breela; plus grandchildren by marriage; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Ava, Jessa, Jackson, plus 44 more.
Maggie devoted her life to loving her family. She sang in the choir at Enon Baptist Church. She drove the bus for Chesterfield County Schools. She was an avid cook, loved karaoke and enjoyed crafting. She left no voice unheard, no song unsung and no stomach empty. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2021, at J.T. Morriss and Son, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, Va. 23831. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Enon Baptist Church, 13607 N. Enon Church Rd., Chester, Va. 23836. Interment in Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Rd., Chester, Va. 23836, following the service. The Celebration of Life reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Enon Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation
