Obituary Online notes for Clifford Odell SHEETS
Clifford Odell Sheets, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at his home.
He was born in Ashe County, N.C., to the late Wiley and Fannie Faw Sheets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Sheets and Carl Sheets.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II and was the founder and owner of "Jobsite Johnny". He was life member of the Francis Marion VFW Post #4667 and the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Maxine Price Sheets of Marion; one sister-in-law, Frances Sheets of Marion; six brothers-in-law, Douglas Price, Bill Price, Kenny Price and Roy Price, all of Marion, Dean R. Price of Kernersville, N.C., Robert Price of Charlottesville; five nieces, Brenda, Janet, Sandy, Patty and Dawn; one nephew, W.C.; special uncle, Oscar McNeil of Marion; and special friends, Benny and Missy Reedy of Marion.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church with the Revs. Eddie Beck, Kenny Price, and Robert Price officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum with full military honors being rendered by the Francis Marion VFW Post #4667.
