Doris Odham Ellis, 89, of Bluefield, WV passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Born February 11, 1934, in Pocahontas, VA, she was a daughter of the late John and Oma Jeffery Odham.
Doris was a graduate of Pocahontas High School class of 1951 and a retired cook for Mercer County Schools.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Billy George Ellis and grandson, Cody Ray Ellis.
Those left to cherish Doris’ memory are her sons, Dennis K. Ellis and wife Sheba of Bluefield, WV and Billy Ray Ellis and wife Sabrina of Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Deborah Agee and husband Robert of Bluefield, WV; sister, Fern Thompson of Kissimee, FL; 3 grandchildren, Christina Hamm and husband Justin, Brittney Woolwine and husband Eddie, and Catelin Ellis; and 3 great grandchildren, Aaliyah Ellis, Alivia Hamm and Alena Hamm.
Graveside rites will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with Speaker Norma Hodges officiating.
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Ellis family.
