Gerad Sherwood “Jerry” Morris, age 86 passed away Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Francis Marion Manor.
Jerry was born in Smyth County, VA to the late Paul Lee Morris and Mary Lynn Spriggs Morris and was preceded in death by his first wife Happy Morris; his second wife Frances Morris, and his sister Charlotte Morris.
Jerry was retired from Grissom Motor Parts with over 40 years of service and was a member of the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church in Atkins.
Survivors include his wife Maxine Sheets. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins; several brothers in law and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 1, 2021, at the Bradley’s Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Hall, Reverend Robert Price, and Reverend Kenny Price officiating. Entombment will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-2 PM prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church, 132 Churchland Dr. Atkins, VA 24311.
