MARION, Va. Joann Price Blevins, age 75, went to be with our heavenly father on Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
She was a loving wife, mother and mamaw. JoAnn had spent the last 15 years of her life being a caregiver for those in need. She touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Worth C. and Anna Finney Price; one brother, Sherwood "Woody" Price; two sisters, Nellie Rangeo and Francis Morris; and son-in-law, Johnny Catron.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Fred Blevins; two daughters, Charlene Dugger and husband Rick, of Bristol, Va., and Tina Catron of Marion, Va.; one son, Tom Moore and wife Jenny, of Sugar Grove, Va.; one sister, Naomi Kell and husband Robert, of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren, Sara Miller and husband Kevin, of Bristol, Va., Matt Evans of Glade Spring, Va., Ben Moore of Marion, Va., and Leanna Catron of Marion, Va.; one great-grandson, Isaiah Miller of Bristol, Va.; and her little dog, Molly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Kenny Price officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
