Mildred Margaret Trexler Brady, 96, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, December 19, 2008, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel with Rev. Steve Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens.
Born in Guilford County December 13, 1912, the daughter of the late Julius Floyd Trexler and Dora James Trexler.
She retired from Cone Mills (Revolution Div) after 35 years service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee Brady who was killed in World War 11 in 1945; four brothers, Floyd, Julius (Bunk), Troy Lee and Carnard Trexler; four sisters, Beatrice Trexler, Artice Johnson, Elizabeth Wright and Grace Brooks.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Jean Brady Helms and husband, Archie of Salisbury; grandson, Michael L. Helms and wife, Jeannie of Woodbridge, Va.; sister, Amber T. Martin of New Carrollton, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
