RUFFIN — Jason Keith Patterson , 22, of 1797 Ashland Road, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007.
Jason was a native of Rockingham County and a graduate of Rock of Ages Academy. He was a caretaker for his grandfather, Bennie McKinney. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gordon Patterson .
He is survived by his son, Hunter Shelton; father, Keith Patterson and wife, Cindy; mother, Diane McCraw and husband, Jimmy; brother, Joshua Patterson and fiancée, Wendy Farmer; grandparents, Bennie and Rose McKinney; grandmother, Betty Patterson ; stepgrandmother, Marjorie Patterson ; nephew, Austin Patterson ; nieces, Alexyss Patterson , Abygail Patterson and Makenzie Farmer; aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Dale Ward, Tammy and Timmy Paschal, and Dr. Ivan McKinney; cousins, Sabrina Paschal and Christopher Hankins.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 2. At other times, the family will be at the residence of the mother, 506 Pennrington Circle, Reidsville and the home of the father, 1901 Amberhill Drive, Reidsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Hall, 5140 Dunstan Road, Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
