Lee Deal, age 92, of Bristol, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Pores Knob, NC on April 13, 1925.
He was the preceded in death by his parents, Edgar J. and Texie Queen Deal; and his wife of 71 years, Dot Summers Deal; sister, Mrs. Suma Sloop and brother, Ernest J. Deal.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII. Lee retired as manager of the Bristol Lowes after 20 plus years.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Pores Knob, NC.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Sandoe and husband, James of Bristol, TN; son, A. Lee Deal, Jr. and fiancée of Sandy Bates of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Griffin, Justin Deal and wife, Kristin, Chesney Lee Griffin Roark and husband, Jason, Jason Deal and wife, Kim, Matthew Sandoe and wife, Jana, Aaron S. Deal; great-grandchildren, Haidyn, Holden, Bella, Elizabeth, Carly, and Mason.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Bristol, VA with Rev. Ben Ondrak officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard.
