Michael Jay Fulcher, 63, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A native of Alamance County he was the son of the late Robert Smith Fulcher and Jacqueline Annette King Fulcher.
Jay attended Cummings High School and following school worked in landscaping.
He was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church.
Jay loved spending time in the outdoors and listening to classic rock music.
He was an avid UNC Tarheel fan and was known for his sense of humor.
He and his sister Renee enjoyed watching Haunted movies together.
Jay is survived by his sister, Renee F. Wyrick of Burlington who cared for him during his recent illness.
The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and staff of UNC Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. [8449]
