Wesley Albert Youngclaus of Woodland died Thursday, March 2 at age 91.
Mr. Youngclaus was born Aug. 18, 1914 in Zanesville, Ohio to Walter and Nellie Youngclaus.
He has been a Yolo County resident for 49 years. For 30 years he was a seed salesman for DeKalb Seed Company.
Survivors include Mr. Youngclaus son, Randall Youngclaus; his granddaughter, Myranda; his brother, Leyton Youngclaus, and his niece, Lorelyn Hechtman.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Elaine Youngclaus and his parents.
The family requests memorials in Mr. Youngclaus' name be directed to Yolo Hospice, P.O. Box 1014, Davis, 95617.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 8 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 434 Cleveland St., Woodland. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
