Janet May Haynes, 62, of Pinnacle, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:20 p.m. at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice & Palliative Care Center. She was born in Guilford County, NC on October 11, 1948 to Keith May of Julian, NC and Jewel Beaver of Pinnacle, NC. She is survived by her husband, Jerry K Haynes, Jr. of Cana, VA, her parents, her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Bullington of Pinnacle, NC, one sister, Deborah Fowler (Marvin Brewer) of Pinnacle NC, one daughter, Tammy Wilkinson (Steve Wilkinson) of Snow Camp, NC, one son, Dwayne Greeson of Pinnacle, NC three granddaughters, Taylor Hodges, Courtney Greeson, Jodi Wilkinson and one grandson, Cody Wilkinson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Janet attended Southeast Guilford High School and was formerly employed by Gibsonville Police Department and Security Forces Inc. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring daughter and sister and lived her life always putting others before herself. Her memorial service will be Saturday, December 18, 2010 and conducted by Reverend Jim Folks of Rock Creek United Methodist Church, at Pinnacle View Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with visitation immediately following in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice & Palliative Care Centers, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 and Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.

Mr. Jerry Kelly "Junior" Haynes, Jr., 78, of Ararat, VA passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home. He was born in Carroll County, VA on August 7, 1943, to the late Jerry and Treva Hall Haynes. In addition to his parents Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Pruitt Haynes; his second wife, Janet Haynes; brothers, Robert "Buster" Haynes, and Odell Haynes. Mr. Haynes was retired from NC Granite Corporation

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
