Robert Lee Renigar, Jr.

     Mr. Robert Lee Renigar, Jr., age 93, of Burlington, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at his residence after several months of failing health.
     A native of Alamance County he was the son of the late Robert Lee Renigar, Sr. and the late Louise Shepherd Renigar and was married for over 47 years to Mrs. Linda Craig Renigar, who survives.  Robert retired from AT&T with over 40 years of service and was a former member of Low’s Lutheran Church.  He was involved with the Senior Group at the Graham Recreation Department along with the Midweek Senior Golf Group and was a skilled airplane pilot. 
     Mr. Renigar is survived by his wife of the home; his three children, Beverly Louise Coleman and her husband, Marshall, Michael Lee Renigar and Gary Lee Renigar; three grandchildren, Emilia Lynne Coleman, Christopher Renigar and Nicholas Renigar; two great grandchildren, Scarlett Renigar and Cooper Renigar; a sister, Diane (Wally) Bush; a brother, Rev. Paul Renigar; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Robert Renigar; a sister, Faye Wells; and a brother, Jack Renigar.
     The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Vickery and Rev. Benny Vickery.  Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 PM Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
     The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of AuthroCare Hospice, especially Amy Parsons, Karen Garner, Charlotte Hoy, Gail Smith and Mitzi Church, for all their loving and compassionate care of Mr. Renigar during his illness.  Also, a very special thanks to good friend, Linda Curl.
     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthroCare Collective, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
