Obituary Online notes for Sue WARF
Sue Warf Cook, 98, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clay Warf and Rev. Ryan Burris officiating, and the entombment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cook was born in Petersburg, VA to the late Richard and Lula Hubbard Warf and spent most of her life in Rockingham County. She was a lifetime member of Baptist Temple Church where she served in children's Sunday school as a teacher and Mission Friends. She loved her church and was quick to invite you or wonder where you have been if she didn't see you on Sunday. Mrs. Sue was loved for her consistent and faithful birthday wish phone call to the members of Baptist Temple. She was a wonderful cook and regularly shared her sourdough bread with family and friends.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Lumon Norman Cook; sisters, Vera Allen, Lois Moose, Iris Fargis and Inza Roberts; brothers, Rev. Milton Warf and Allen Cook. Sue is survived by her son, Barry Cook and a large extended family.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Hospice Home of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
470, Sue Warf Cook
