GREENSBORO
PATRICIA S. MORPHIS, AGE 63, Peacefully gained her wings Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Beacon Place in Greensboro to go and be with her heavenly father, where she was greeted by her parents, Marion A. Stout and Mildred Faye Barley.
Among those patiently waiting for her arrival was the love of her life, best friend, soulmate and husband Steven L. Morphis.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Chapel, with Reverend Bruce Church officiating.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
The visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 4 at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street and other times at the home of daughter Christy, 4615 Creekview Rd., McLeansville, NC 27301.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten, Pat is survived by daughters Pamela Morphis Hooker and husband Andy of Pine Hall, and Christy Morphis Clark and husband Todd of McLeansville. Four grandchildren Jasper and Mason Hooker, Paige and Karli Clark. Additionally, she is survived by one brother James Stout of McLeansville, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat's daughters would like to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. Stephen Fry and Dora Brodie and to Pat's many caregivers Paige, Cindy and Debra for all the support and hospitality shown to Pat during this difficult time.
