October 11, 1934 ~ April 6, 2024 (age 89)

Louise Smith

Louise Smith, 89, passed away on Saturday April 6, 2024,  at home surrounded by her family. 

She was the daughter of the late Carlis and Etner Tucker.  Louise was a faithful member of Carolina Christian Church. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis Smith and David Smith (Beth); grandchildren, Brian Coker (Jodie), Christopher Coker (Silver), Jeremy Smith, Daniel Smith (Tiffany), Terry Ashby (Kime), Nathan Ashby (Sarah); brothers, Lloyd Tucker, Leary Tucker (Linda), Lynwood Tucker; sisters, Lucretia Barber, Lou Ellen Bailey (George), Linda Lewis; multiple great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a special friend, Fay Ward. 

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Smith, two brothers and two great grandchildren. 

The family will receive on Tuesday April 9, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at McClure Funeral Service in Graham. 

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at Alamance Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Mitchell officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215 or to the Carolina Christian Church Building Fund 2030 Carolina Rd Burlington, NC 27217.
