Obituary Online notes for Edith Marie HUDSON
GREENSBORO — Mrs. Marie Hudson Albright, 77, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Craig Peak officiating. Interment will follow at Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery.
Marie worked for the Guilford County School System as a cafeteria manager for General Greene Elementary and Joyner Elementary Schools for 17 years.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Bobby Lee Albright; parents, JaVan and Polly Hudson, and grandson, Daniel B. Albright.
Marie is survived by seven children, Robert Albright and wife, Wanda, of Pleasant Garden, Vernon Albright and wife, Peggy, of McLeansville, Maybelle Albright of Greensboro, Cindy Truitt and husband, Joey, of Whitsett, David Albright and wife, Bev, of McLeansville, Janice Volinski and husband, Michael, of Greensboro and Sadie Albright Harris and husband, Jerry, of Asheboro. Marie is also survived by four brothers, Jimmy Hudson of Reidsville, Billy Hudson of Whitsett, David Hudson of Climax, Leonard Hudson of Winston- Salem and one sister, Margaret Loy of Greensboro; nine grandchildren, one step grandchild, and two great- grandchildren.
Marie was blessed to have such dedicated children to take care of her needs over the years. Marie's youngest son, David, visited her every day. Cindy met her financial needs for the past three years and Maybelle has taken excellent care of her mother. The list could go on and on about how all the children were there to help take care of their mother.
