Daniel Braxton Albright, 15, passed away at his home Aug. 11, 2001.The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at One Way Baptist Church where he was a member. Interment will be in Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery.
Daniel was preceded in death by his biological father, Donald Braxton Smith Jr.
Daniel loved his pastor, Craig Peak. He also loved his Carolina Basketball team.
Surviving in the home are his mother, Janice Albright Volinski; his father, Michael Joseph Volinski and his sister, Kristy Marie Volinski. Also surviving are his step-sisters, Christina Bryant and Tosha Smith; step-brothers, Donald Smith III, Christopher and Kenny Smith, all of Greensboro; grandmothers, Marie H. Albright of Greensboro and Joan Volinski of Streetsboro, Ohio; and his great-grandmother, Polly E. Hudson of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Forbis & Dick N. Elm St. Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Special Trust Fund for Daniel Albright, Wachovia Bank, 1405 Sunset Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27408.
Special thanks to Daniels loyal friend, Elizabeth Overly. Special thanks also for all the prayers and financial help along the way from the community. Thanks to the Greensboro Country Club who worked so patiently with the absence of both parents. Thanks to all who loved and cared about Daniel. He suffers no more, he is heaven bound.
