Mary Gray Bryson, 97, was called home by her Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in November 20, 1926, the daughter of Robah W. and Lizzie McDaniel Gray.
Mary was employed for 53 years before retiring at age 91 in 2018 from Alamance Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Company. She attended Grace Bible Fellowship where she served in various ways. She was always concerned that everyone she met had a relationship with the Lord. Her family has been blessed by her long life and spiritual wisdom.
She is survived by her nephews, Eric Rudd and his wife, Cassie: Patrick Rudd and partner, Hu Womack; Farrell Burton and his wife, Gloria; Lee Burton and his wife, Eva and her niece, Aleene Rowand and husband, Tom and several great nieces and nephews. Great-great nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert B. Bryson; sisters, Virginia Rudd and her husband, Ira, Nancy Burton and her husband, Larry, two half-sisters and a half-brother.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 3PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Paul Bomberger. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-2:45pm. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Salem Community Church Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Authoracare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Also, her caregivers from Surely Blessed for allowing her to continue living in her home.
