Mr. Lattice Fremont "Bob" Curl, age 90, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family after several months of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Lattice E. Curl and the late Lona Buckner Curl and was married for over 68 years to Mrs. Evelyn Brown Curl, who survives.
He was an U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War.
Bob was retired from Western Electric after 38 years of service and was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee, Deacon, Sunday School Director and in many other capacities of leadership. He was an avid sports fan, especially of his beloved Wake Forest University and after his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife. They enjoyed many special outings with their beloved grandchildren, including fishing and picnics, and sometimes had to drive two cars. 470, Lattice Fremont “Bob” Curl
