APRIL 27 — Elva Berry Woodyard, 96, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010 at The Woodland in Farmville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Woodyard, two brothers, William Berry and Joseph Berry, and two sisters, Rena Berry and Ruth Sheppard.
She is survived by nieces, Shirley S. Goodman (Guthrie), Frances B. Hughes (David), and Hope Berry; nephew, William Berry (Laura); three great-nieces, three great-nephews, and three great-great nieces and two great-great nephews, and long-time caregiver, Flora King.
Funeral services were held at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, Rice, with interment in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Rice, on Sunday, April 25.
