Henry Riddle Woodyard was born on June 13, 1932, in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Bart Woodyard, Sr. and the late Dallie Riddle Woodyard.
He was united in marriage to Bertha Ellen Johnson, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, Henry Wayne Woodyard and wife, Tammy, of London, five siblings, Medius and Johnny Woodyard, both of London, Harold Woodyard of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Wilma Jean Lockaby of Brownsburg, Indiana and Wanda Elaine Shreiner of Frankfort, Michigan, six grandchildren, Chris, Kevin, Lee and Tyler Reynolds, Charity McQueen (Josh) and Cameron Woodyard, eleven great-grandchildren, a special friend, Martha Johnson, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by two children, William Reynolds and Debra Ann Woodyard, and five siblings, Bart Woodyard, Jr., Delford and Steve Woodyard, Thelma Johnson and Gladys Shelton.
Henry was a truck driver and a member of Locust Grove Christian Church.
Henry Riddle Woodyard departed this life at St. Joseph – London on Thursday, September 2, 2021, being 89 years, 2 months and 20 days of age.
Private funeral services for Henry Riddle Woodyard will be conducted Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the West London Cemetery.
Private visitation for Henry Riddle Woodyard will be Sunday at Bowling Funeral Home.
