September 29, 1933 ~ November 23, 2024 (age 91)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Jerolene Kidd Nall on November 23, 2024, at the age of 91.

Born on September 29,1933 in High Point, NC to Lonnie Herbert Kidd, father and Mary Brown Kidd, mother.

She met the love of her life, George T. Nall and have been married 71 Years.

She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Her warmth and smile radiated love and compassion and was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Surviving is her husband, George T. Nall of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Beth Nall of Elon; Special friend, Marty Newell.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Mary Kidd; son, Dr. Steven Keith Nall; brother Lonnie Kidd and sister, Alice Emory.

She was a graduate of Haw River High School and Elon University. She taught science for Alamance County and Burlington School System for 20 years. Owned and operated Nall Printing company until 2015. She and husband George brought and restored Holt Green house (mill owner’s home) in the Glencoe Village. Capturing its beauty and splendor for all to see. During these years much time and effort were given to restoration of Glencoe Village in corporation with Preservation N.C. In and through this process Textile Heritage Museum of Glencoe Village was founded by her and she was the Founding Director.

Jerolene was a longtime member of Northside Presbyterian Church of Burlington. She was an accomplished artist. Her floral gardens were a work of art. Her husband was a pilot and they enjoyed many special flights together. Hosted many Fundraisers for the Textile Museum and Holt Green House. She loved spending time with her many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am before the service. Burial at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family would like to express special thanks to her loving caregiver Penny Reynolds and to Hospice for the special care given to Jerolene.
Memorials may be made to the Textile Heritage Museum, AuthoraCare Hospice, or to Northside Presbyterian Church.
