Donald Ferrell Davenport, 89 died at his home September 29, 2025. He was born in Guilford County to the late Grady and Magdalene Thomas Davenport. Donald was a lifelong Tobacco Farmer.
In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Sue Davenport and a Step son Michael Chatel; and son-in-law Coy Bolen.
Survivors include his wife Mary Sue Wood Davenport of Summerfield; grandson Cory Harlin Bolen (Brandi) of Summerfield; Great Grandsons Harlin and Brayden Bolen Grandson Joseph Chatel (Suzanne) and great grandson Christian Chatel. Numerous extended family also survive.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM Saturday October 04, 2025 at Hillside Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Summerfield. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00PM at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service Stokesdale Chapel.
