Mr. Seymour Proctor Hall, age 81 of Harlan was born in Harlan, Ky on February 4, 1942 to the late Ray and Julia Mitchell Hall and departed this life on January 26, 2024 in the Harlan ARH Hospital.

He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and of the Presbyterian Faith. He enjoyed being outside, Carpenter Work, making things with his hands, and time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents: Ray and Julia Hall; a great grandson: Jackson Isom; 2 sisters: Betty Osborne and Dovie Hall; 2 brothers: Melvin Henry Hall and Charles Hall; a sister-in-law: Theresa Hall; and a brother-in-law: Donald Reynolds preceded him in death.

* Seymour is survived by his loving children; a brother; a sister; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Mr. Seymour Hall will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roy Eversole and Rev. Gary Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Military Honors will be conducted at Graveside by the American Legion Post 88. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends will be received at the Barbourville Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 Noon to the funeral hour at 2.
