Daniel H Taylor, 88 years of age, died Tuesday at his home on the Falls Mills road.
He was born in Giles County and had been a resident of Tazewell County for the past 80 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four children.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs D D Stowers, C W Taylor; J D Taylor, Mrs Roxie Roland and Mrs Mary Rose of Bluefield, Va; Miss Hazel Taylor at home; Mrs H T Dickenson of Washington, D C; J W Taylor of Great Bridge, Va; A F Taylor of Yakima, Washington; Mrs L C Cruise of Kokomo, Ind; L C Taylor of East Gulf; Mrs G H Wyatt of Philadelphia; Mrs Obbie Neal and Mrs Herbert Thompson, of Chicago, Ill; Lewis H Taylor of Bluefield; George W and Robert Taylor, both in the U S Air Force.
He was married three times, his first wife the former Miss Sallie Neal of Clear Fork, died May 12, 1889.
His second wife, the former Miss Mary Bailey, of Bluefield, Va, died February 3, 1912.
His third wife, formerly Miss Julia Woodward, of Bluefield, Va, survives.
