Jean Donovan, 92 of Princeton died Monday, January 25, 2021, at Princeton Community Hospital.

Born May 28, 1928, in Athens, WV she was the daughter of the late Basil B. Bennett and Maude Martin Bennett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Jack” Donovan; and three sisters, Margaret Kirby, Joan Lawery, and Connie Sue Alvis.

Survivors include one son, Michael J. “Mike” Donovan and wife Nancy of Princeton; one daughter, Karen D. Goad and husband Stan of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Ashley Scott Goad and wife Crystal, Eric Dean Goad and fiancé Amanda, Michael Todd Donovan and wife Laura; six great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Jackson, Zachary, Macie, Kholie, and Lincoln; and one sister, Louise Hogan and husband David of Princeton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM, Friday, January 29, 2021 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with John Puckett serving as Eulogist. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kee Street United Methodist Church, 311 Kee St., Princeton, WV 24740. Please follow all guidelines from the Governor and local health department by practicing social distancing and wearing of masks for your safety and the safety of others.
