Elon - Michael Brooks, 55, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. A native of Alamance County, he was born to the late Curtis Dean and Wanda Anderson Brooks and was the husband of 30 years to Lisa Kay Smith Brooks of the home.
Michael is also survived by his son, Michael Allen Brooks (Chasity) and his granddaughter, Payton Brooks.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Larry Lamberth with the burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the son's home.
