Esta was born in Greensboro, NC, the fourth child of Porter Clifton and Mamie Coble Troxler.
Esta was a member of Hines Chapel in McLeansville and Village Bible Church in Park Forest, Ill. She was employed by a pharmaceutical company and Jacks Cookie Company in Greensboro. Esta was active in the Prison Fellowship Ministries and spent the last seven years, following the death of her husband, Albert N. Wyrick, in Park Forest, Ill.

In addition to her parents and husband, Esta was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Wyrick Towery; grandson, Timothy A. Hanson; brothers, Garland and Hoyle Troxler; and sisters, Florine Kivett and Pearl Wyrick.
