Chesapeake – Ralph Saunders Wyrick, Jr., died February 25, 2014. Mr. Wyrick was born in Greensboro, NC to the late Ralph S. Wyrick, Sr. and Lucy Jones Jennings.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Mr. Wyrick was a truck driver by trade, enjoyed playing music and was the leader of the Country Rebels band.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 27 years, Patricia “Pat” Wyrick; children, Nannett Wyrick, Michael and Scott Tobin, Vicki Walski and her husband Jerry, Robert A. Smith, Jr. and his wife Kara, and Malcon Bland Smith and his wife April; siblings, Phala Garrett, Douglas Wyrick and Dennis Wyrick; A host of grandchildren and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Immanuel Baptist Church in Chesapeake on Monday at 10:00 am.
A celebration of Mr. Wyrick’s life will immediately follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Tracy Gregory officiating.
