Nancy Marie Perdue May, 65, passed away at her home on Friday evening, September 2, 2016.
Nancy was born in Rockingham County on April 24, 1951 to the late Willie Perdue and Jennie Sharp Perdue.
Nancy was a homemaker and loved taking care of her husband and family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Her favorite pastimes included gardening, bingo, going to the beach with her family and playing cards, especially “Rook”. She loved her dog, “Bruiser”. Nancy will be missed by her family and friends greatly.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Perdue and a sister, Elizabeth Finney.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jesse May; daughter, Michelle Lea May and husband, Ronnie Fain of Reidsville; son, Michael May and wife, Tammy of Reidsville; grandchildren: Angell May, Dakota May, Summer Smith and Tyler Smith; and special friends Dawn and Bobby Harden of Arlington, Texas. 566
