MARS HILL - Jack Shook, 63, of Route 2, Fox Creek Road, died Wednesday in a Burnsville hospital.
A lifelong resident of Madison County, he was the son of the late Jodie and Verchia Blankenship Shook.
Surviving are two daughters, Susie English and Linda Shook of Mars Hill; a grandchild and a greatgrandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the . chapel of Capps Funeral Home. The Rev. Lloyd Ponder will officiate.
Burial will be in Upper Laurel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
