MARS HILL - MARS HILL - Alline Alma Angel, 75, of U.S. 19, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Madison Manor Nursing Center after an extended illness.
She was a native of Yancey County and lived in Madison County most of her life.
She was a former employee of Shaw Industries.
She was the daughter of the late Theron F. and Emma Higgins Angel.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Summie, Ralph, Rothy and a twin brother, Alden Angel.
She is survived by two sisters, Vivian Chandler of Marshall and Hazel Hyer of Weaverville; brother, Johnny Angel of Weaverville; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 N.C. 213, Mars Hill. The Revs. Ronald Dodson and Joe Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Middle Fork Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews and honorary pallbearers will be great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
At other times the family will be at the home of Bobby and Kathy Eatmon, 99 Fraser Hill, Mars Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, P.O. Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to help the family with funeral expenses. 470, Alline Alma Angel
