Cleva H. Moore, 69, of 270 Young's Cove Rd., Candler, died on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at her residence.
A native of Madison Co., she was a daughter of the late Noah Clifford and Julia Shook Hensley.
Mrs. Moore had retired as a certified nurse's assistant, working with Dr. Herbert McCall, and Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Estel Eugene "Gene" Moore; daughter, Pam Tessier and husband Tim, of Greensboro; son, Ronald Moore, of Charleston, SC; and grandchildren, Katie and Casey Holder, of Santa Barbara, CA, and Gregory Tessier, of Greensboro.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Revs. Robert Oliver and Adam Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
