Jackie Sanford Tate, 23, of Axton, Va. died Thursday at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Leaksville, N.C., where he been a patient for the past week.
He had been in declining health for one year.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Tate Sr. of Axton; three sisters, Mrs. James R. Jones of Leaksville, N.C., Mrs. Jimmy McBride of Spray, N.C. and Miss Sandra Tate of of the home; and three brothers, Linley Tate of Spray, N.C. and Howard D. and Jerry Tate of the home.
Funeral services will be held at Fair Funeral Home in Leaksville with burial in the Lawson cemetery. 470, Jackie Sanford Tate
