Obituary Online notes for Worley CAPPS
Worley Capps, 94, of Big Laurel Road, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Charles George VA Medical Center. He is the son of the late Hezekiah and Pearl Wheeler Capps. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Villa Hamlin Capps; sisters, Idus Fisher, Azalee Coffey, Eula Mae Norton and brothers, David, Claude, Bruce and Howard Capps. Mr. Capps was a WWII Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters; Judy Landers (Ken), Peggy Wheeler (Eddie) and Wanda Renfro (Kenny) and son; Rick Capps (Janet), grandchildren; Charlie Wheeler (Emily), Jonathan Wheeler (Amber), Brent Landers, Kacie Kisielewski (Paul), Clay Capps and Brittany Eller, great grandchildren; Beckett Landers, Mason Wheeler, Brooke Davis, Colin Wheeler and Hailey Wheeler, one great-great grandchild; Dawson and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Upper Laurel Baptist Church with Reverends Raymond Cantrell, Jake Fender and Cline Junior Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5:00 -7:00 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

The family would like to express a special Thank You to the staff of Charles George VA Hospital and Mr. Capps special caregiver and friend, Sarah Dees.
