FOCH SHOOK
MARS HILL - Foch Shook, 83, of 211 Chestnut St., died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, at his residence.
A native of Madison County, he was a retired lumberman and member of Little Creek Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Sylvanus and Rhoda Sprinkle Shook.
Surviving are three sisters, Mollie Whitt and Gwendolyn English, both of Mars Hill, and Bureda Ray of Erwin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 N.C. 213, Mars Hill, NC 28754. The Rev. Darrell Shelton will officiate.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Justus Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
