Floyd Howell Jr., age 73, of Hensley Branch Rd., Burnsville, NC passed away January 1, 2018.
He was retired as a surveyor with Arrowood Surveying.
Survivors include: his mother; Bernice Silver Howell, of Bakersville, NC, one daughter, Tammy Austin (John), of Burnsville, NC, two sons; Bill Howell, of Burnsville, NC, and Brian Howell (Angelina) of Bakersville, NC, three sisters; Faye Benge, of Marion, NC, Jean Hoilman and Linda Yelton, of Bakersville, NC, grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Mason, and Katie Austin, Daniel, Nathan, Luke, and Adam Howell, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Howell Sr., two brothers, Billy Joe and Wayne, and a grandson, Joshua.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Henline - Hughes Funeral Home with Jonothan Thacker officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Silver Chapel Cemetery.
