Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 10, 2011, Mrs. Lois S. Plunkett, 88, wife of the late James T. Plunkett, Jr.
Family members include daughters: Rebecca Mundy (Robert), Linda Thomas (Gordon), 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 sisters: Jacqueline Wilkinson, Mildred Quarles, and Nancy Cates.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sheriff James T. Plunkett, Jr.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. John West officiating. Following the service burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Thomas, Jeffery Thomas, Lance McMurray, Kent Plunkett, James Plunkett, James Drew, John Flynt.
The honorary pallbearers were Charlie Webster, Ronnie Strength, Greg Coursey, Gene Johnson, Clay Whittle, and members of the RCSD.
