John Edwin Smith, 66, of Friendship, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at his residence.
He was an employee of the Crockett County Highway Department and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Murphy officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, the husband of Betty Smith of Friendship, also leaves a daughter, Angela Jones of Nashville; two sons, Jason Sudbury of Bristol and Ken Smith of Nashville; his parents, Frankie Lou and John G. Smith, and a brother, Larry Smith, all of Friendship, and five grandchildren. 470, John Edwin Smith
